Unified School Improvement Grant (UniSIG)
As noted under section 1111(d) of the Every Student Succeeds Act, the Unified School Improvement Grant (UniSIG) program provides funds for school districts to serve schools implementing comprehensive support and improvement activities (CS&I) or targeted support and improvement (TS&I) activities. As such, this program exclusively supports Title I public schools identified as CSI and students attending a public high school, regardless of Title I status, that has a four-year adjusted cohort graduation rate at or below 67 percent based on 2022-23 graduation data. Activities included in this application must align to the School Improvement Plan (SIP) at any qualifying school, be evidenced-based, and supplement (not supplant) local funding.
For the 2024/2025 project year, only the Endeavor School is eligible for this grant. Funds from UniSIG will support specific action items within the school’s SIP.
