Collective Bargaining Tentative Agreement Reached

In the spirit of cooperation, the School Board of Seminole County and the Seminole Education Association, Inc. are pleased to announce that the parties have tentatively agreed to contract language and compensation.
- Recurring salary increases for full-time classroom teachers as defined by 1012.01(2)(a) with 10 or more years of Florida Public School District teaching experience as follows:
- 30+ years: $3,000.00
- 25-29 years: $2,500.00
- 18-24 years: $2,210.00
- 14-17 years: $1,500.00
- 10-13 years: $1,000.00
- Recurring salary increases for all instructional based staff for the 2026-2027 school year as follows: Highly Effective: $452.50
- Effective: $271.50
- Grandfathered: $362.00
- Specific inherent supplement increases for Deans, School Counselors, Social Workers, Staffing Resources Specialists, Student Support Services Facilitators, and SLPs
- Specific extracurricular supplement increases for H.S. Band Directors and H.S. Chorus Directors
- Added extracurricular supplements for H.S. Assistant Band Directors, M.S. Band Directors, and M.S. Chorus Directors
- All other extracurricular supplements will increase by 2.5%
- Title I Supplement of $100 for each teacher at a Title I eligible school for 2026

2026-2027 probationary teachers are not eligible for a salary increase
