Teacher Classroom Supply (TCS) Program Guide

Program Overview

The Florida Teachers Classroom Supply (TCS) Program provides state-funded support to eligible instructional personnel for the purchase of supplemental classroom materials and supplies used in the instruction of students in Pre-K through Grade 12. The program is governed by Section 1012.71, Florida Statutes.

The program is administered through the SCPS Amazon Business Teacher Classroom Supply Program, allowing participants to purchase approved classroom supplies using their allocated funds.

Funding amounts vary annually. Allocation is based on employment status and job-share status. Each teacher receives a proportionate share of the district allocation. Teachers must activate their Amazon Business account before funds are released.

Eligibility

Eligible personnel include classroom teachers, defined as a certified teacher employed by a public school district (or a public charter school in that district) and who’s full-time or job-share responsibility is classroom instruction], full-time media specialists and certified school counselors serving students in Pre-K through Grade 12, if employed on or before September 1 of the school year and positions are funded through the Florida Education Finance Program (FEFP).

Spending Deadline

• Teacher Classroom Supply funds must be used by 11:59 pm on Monday, March 1, 2027.  
• Teachers are encouraged to begin purchasing well before the deadline.

Account Registration

• All current eligible teachers will receive an email invitation to begin spending new year funds.
• All NEW eligible teachers will receive an email invitation to create an Amazon Business account. Invitations will continue through September 1.
• After September 1 – Eligible teachers who have not registered must request an invitation by emailing: teacherclassroomsupply@scps.k12.fl.us

If you do not receive an email from Amazon Business, check your Outlook junk/spam email box. Please register as soon as you receive the invitation from Amazon. The invitation has an expiration date.

IMPORTANT NOTE: To access your allocated funds, please access Clever and click on the Amazon Business tile. You must log in from a computer/laptop. The Amazon TCS program is not configured for mobile devices.
