Per School Board policy 8700, fraud and fraudulent activity are strictly prohibited. Each employee or agent of the District shall be responsible for reporting any observed or suspected fraud or fraudulent activity. Reports by District staff may be made to the Superintendent. The following alternative reporting methods are also available to staff and the general public.
Within the State of Florida, fraud, waste and abuse may be reported through the Chief Inspector General online at Florida Inspectors General - Report Fraud.
The U.S. Department of Education, Office of Inspector General (OIG) also maintains a hotline for receiving allegations of observed or suspected fraud, waste, abuse, or mismanagement.
