History Day

All Seminole County middle and high school students are eligible to participate in National History Day (NHD). SCPS students enrolled in 8th-grade Advanced, Gifted, or Pre-IB U.S. History complete an NHD project as part of their course. Students in other grade levels (6-12) may also compete with the guidance of a faculty sponsor. Top-placing projects (1st and 2nd place) at school-level contests advance to the Seminole County History Day regional competition on February 27th. Regional winners then represent our district at the Florida History Day state contest in May.
