Students have two sources to use for scholarship searches.
1. SCPS District Scholarship page - Visit the Scholarship Database for scholarships available to all SCPS students. The site includes local, state, and national scholarships listed by deadlines.
2. Xello - Use Xello to search for local, state, and national scholarships based on your interests. SCPS students, open your Clever portal and search for the Xello tile. Use the Xello Scholarships Guide to learn how to search for scholarships. View other Xello scholarship resources.
See your school counselor for support with your post-secondary plans.
Bright Futures - The application for Bright Futures is also the application for Florida Students Scholarship & Grant Programs. Students do not have to have all requirements completed prior to applying. Once applications are submitted, student information is reviewed periodically by the state to determine eligibility. Eligibility requirements are subject to change with each legislative session. For more information about eligibility requirements, please visit the Bright Futures website.
FAFSA - Students need to complete the FAFSA form to ensure eligibility for all types of financial aid. The Better FASFA is available now.
The Foundation - Each year, The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools provides numerous scholarship opportunities for students.
You are on your way to completing your last year of high school, and there is one thing you want to remember to do as you embark on your next journey. Report your scholarships using the Senior Scholarship Report to ensure you get credit for all your college dollars. You must upload a photo or screenshot of the letter, certificate, or email that you received confirming your scholarship. Please do not submit Bright Futures Scholarships on this report.
